outdoor Activities

A thrilling adventure is sometimes the most memorable thing you will remember during your holiday. So, we have compiled below a list of  outdoor activities to discover once you get to the Riviera Maya

Cenotes

What is a cenotes?

Cenotes are limestone sinkholes filled with fresh water, formed when bedrock collapses and exposes groundwater below. Most of the Yucatan’s 6000 cenotes are small, underground, and inaccessible, though a notable number are large enough to swim, snorkel, or dive in. Many are crystal blue and open to the air, while others are accessible by stairs leading down into caverns and are connected to large underground river systems. If you do only one thing during your time in Tulum visit a cenote.

restaurants

Tulum is one of the most incredible places to visit in Mexico. It has spectacular beaches, wonderful natural landscapes, and a ton of great things to do It also has a thriving food scene, which is as diverse as the town itself. You’ll find everything from local taco joints to incredible fine-dining establishments along the beachside or in the town center. Whether you’re looking to grab a quick bite or go on a unique culinary adventure, Tulum’s restaurants do not disappoint.

Beach Clubs

Tulum North Beach is only 4 km long and it’s more authentic with less development and more public beaches with free access. Definitely my favorite part of Tulum beach. You can find some beach clubs here too, although the majority are on the south beach of Tulum, which is more crowded and lined with hotels and their own beach clubs.

Some of them offer a quiet and tranquil ambiance, while others are more suitable for party lovers. On the beach road on the southern side, it’s also a nightmare to find a car park,
especially in the high season. This is why most people hire a scooter or a bike.

That southern part of Tulum Beach is also packed with incredible shops, art galleries, and fine dining, popular for being always super crowded-the negative side.

Night Life

After a nice long day soaking up the Mexican Caribbean sun on the laid back beaches of Tulum, what better way to switch up the vibes to get your party on then by visiting one of the best bars or nightclubs in the area? Here are a few upbeat and well-loved places in Tulum for you and your friends to let loose at.
